At Allianz Technology, we are looking for a Data Scientist to be part of an international and multidisciplinary team of Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Solution Architects, Business Analysts and functional experts.
You will have the opportunity to contribute and shape different data products for Data Science, Machine Learning and Artificial Intelligence along the insurance value chain.
We are looking for people who have a passion for discovering solutions hidden in large data sets and working with stakeholders to improve business outcomes.
The ideal candidate is comfortable working with a wide range of functional teams and has experience with the development and implementation of AI solutions.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Contribute and shape the future of data science at Allianz, by developing and distributing AI products
• Develop end-to-end solution blueprints for our international stakeholders, including data engineering, machine learning and artificial intelligence algorithms or custom algorithm development
• Identify opportunities for innovation through analytics in the business of Allianz
• Investigate new data technologies and contribute to the continuous development of the Big Data architecture
• Contribute to our Allianz AI framework to ensure high quality AI products
KEY REQUIREMENTS/SKILLS/EXPERIENCE:
• Bachelor Degree in Computer science/electronics/electrical engineering
• 3+ years of hands-on experience with the Python or R, SQL
• 3+ years of data science/analytics experience
• Experience with traditional Machine Learning
• Experience with Deep Learning (especially Computer Vision and/or Natural Language Processing)
• Experience in developing AI-based micro-services
• Well-developed analytical, logical and problem solving skills
• Advanced ability to perform exploratory data analysis and visualize data
• Familiarity with data management tools
• Working knowledge of statistics & common data science tool kits
• Excellent communication (written and oral) & technical writing skills
• Experience in P&C Insurance analytics (Claims, Pricing and Marketing) will be a plus.
Optional skills:
• Professional software development experience including documentation and testing
• Working experience in containerized, Cloud-based environments - AWS, Azure or Google Cloud
• Experience with developing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines
• Experience in designing, developing, deploying and operating scalable RESTful micro-services
• Knowledge and experience in DBMS technologies
• Knowledge and experience in Monitoring systems
• Knowledge on software architecture design principles
• Experience working in a cross-functional and distributed agile team
• Accurate and up to date knowledge on research techniques and applications
• Good understanding of P&C Insurance concepts.
